Repairs were succesful
Just a little mini update on my big old girl. I found that I had some of the better "textured' intex patches so between that and the vinyl cement, Fiora's back to being the proud standing old girl I know her to be. For those other inflatable lovers, yeah I know, it wasn't bad, I'm just kinda protective and that was the first repair I've had to make on anything other than a pool toy. Gotta love those moments when affection overrides logic.
Lessons learned from this adventure
1. Keep squeaky friends secured in some form of totes rather than ever putting them on a shelf.
2. Attempt to think things through logically (I did but that bad, kicked in the gut, feeling persisted a while)
3. Textured intex patches make at least a decent substitute for vinyl strips when paired with vinyl cement
3A. I wouldn't have known how to get the vinyl strip on without accidentally gluing the inside of Fiora's leg to itself anyway
