Huge mistake

Tallyn is a stupid sometimes.
I went to the county government center to go take an exam for a potential job. Turns out NONE of my family kept track of the dates, and the actual exam was yesterday.
Unfortunately, the job's already filled now and I can't rectify this. I messed up bigtime and all I can do is wait for the oncoming "WELL WHY DIDN'T YOU PAY ATTENTION?! OH RIGHT YOU WERE ON YOUR COMPUTER!" storm while I try to fill out as many applications as possible before I feel the overwhelming regret of my mistake.

That sucks, but at the same time it's easily done. I just hope that your family doesn't go too hard on you. Job hunting is demoralising enough without family members making life hard and it's not like any of them remembered.

Well my dad wasn't too upset, since he thought today was the 27th as well. My grandmother took it worse, and found it upsetting we don't have much of a calendar around here. My mother's going to flip her lid telling me I have plenty of calendars to look at.
