My Pal Zid: The Rockin, Radical, Purple Kangaroo

Not really sure where to start. I guess I'll start from the begining.
I met Zidders on facebook through a mutual friend of his and mine.
The first thing that struck me, was his kind and gentle nature.
Zid just might be the most considerate person I have ever met.
He lends his wisdom to those who may need it, and sometimes he can be overly appologetic, which I don't see as a bad thing, he's just a really sweet Roo.
The 2nd thing about him that grabed my attention; were his poems and songs.
Some are a bit cheesey, some are quite sappy, some are very funny,
Some are quite simple, while others are complex. Whatever he writes, he's always at his best. He is one of the first people, who I shared my own poetry and songs, with, as he was one of the few I felt comfirtable with, showing such personal things.
I always value his critque on my works, he's one of the few people I know, who does not just say wether or not they liked something, but also gives their opinion from an artistic perspective.
And Thirdly; his art. When I met Zid, he had just started out with his digital art. At the time, I had not been doing digital art for very long, myself.
I really enjoyed seeing him progress as a digital artist, as he enjoyed mine. With each new piece, he got better, and with each new piece, he inspired me. It has been really great having someone else on this artistic, furry journey. He was (and still is) like my artistic travel buddy. Always helpful, always good companey, and we share many of the same artistic influences.
When I decided to start drawing Furs, I chose Zidder as my first go at it.

To end this on a very personal note; Zidders has been there to share some of the the happiest moments in my life as well as some hard times... Even the lowest moment of my life when I almost lost one of the most importent People in my life... My best friend.
He did his best to cheer me up, and tell me his advice. Some how he managed to put a smile on my face (must have been that Roo Magic) for 2 months that felt like years, he helped me pull through. He's been there for me, these past 2 years, more than my own mother was for all my 23 years, thus far.
My pal Zidders is a real swell Roo, and I just don't know what I'd do without him.
Keep on rocking, and stay rad, Zid. \m/ =^.^=
PS. Zid was the 3rd fur to accept me as a fur. For a long time, I could not find anyfur who would accept me, which I'll talk about why, in a later entry about my journey to becoming furry.

Though self-esteems improved these days
I still don't think much of myself.
I don't put me up on a shelf.
When friends like you seek out and find me
and take the time to try and remind me
of how much I'm loved, I just cry.
My heart is lightened and I sigh
for happy tears wash pain away.
I still don't know what I should say.
A thank you seems to fall far short
of being worth your loves comport
but thank you is what my heart beams.
I'm happy you're part of my scene.
You've been supportive of my ways
and helped me smile through hard days.
I'm grateful that I am so cherished,
It's why sadness has all but perished.
Please know you're awesome-just the best,
from the bottom of the heart within my chest.
