So I CANCELLED FurFling :D

I CANCELLED that piece of shit site after ONE month of their wretched service.
DO NOT PAY for FurFling or FurryMate! They are lying, thieving scum, who don't even deserve to drink the tears from the parents they've failed.
Aside from the fact that they put "We do not do refunds" in their ToS, they also added this tasty bit...
"FurFling creates user profiles for use by our customer support representatives for the support, marketing and improvement of the Services. FurFling's customer support representatives are encouraged to speak to members and also stimulate conversation between members by making introductions and recommendations."
That is them ADMITTING they make fake accounts and fake conversations. Since this info is in their ToS, there is no legal way for you to demand your money back.

I sent them an account cancellation notice just now, and said, "Cancel my account, you worthless parasite. May your failures as a human being forever wallow in the shame you have cast upon your lineage."
Believe it or not, it is GOOD that people like this exist, to remind us about how GOOD the rest of us are. Even a loaf of human who spends welfare checks to feed his porn addiction is a better person than one who seeks to deceive another for personal gain.
I will not even bother with my remaining two months on FurFling. That site is poison. May they rot.

All dating sites do that. I have a tiny bit of a profile filled out (for free) on a couple of them and constantly am spammed with "winks" and "messages." It's almost certainly plants going "i dig u!1" just to get me to pay.
I hate people like that. Now that you pointed out that they are openly scamming people it really is worse. That's a good place to put it though, no one reads the TOS anyway. Only those who feel scammed do, and when you read it you get slapped in the face by them.
Im a bit saddened that the last 2 month i have been seen many many negative news about scammers,criminals and alike.
Afaik Pounced.org seems to be the only honest alternative to those two.
But it's.... kind of ugly looking. Like they use very harsh colors and whatnot.
Still... might use it one day.
Unfortunately, I suspect that neither the individual amounts nor the number of people affected are enough to make FurFling and its kin worth pursuing legally.
The con is usually one PAID person on team will full time manage a few hundred accounts. It's so fucking shitty because people struggling to find a partner feel even more rejected that they have no success online either.

I still see spam pop into my spam email account's inbox from them. Glad I keep a separate account just for suspected spam heavy site sign-ups. lol
