Chasing artists up for info is never fun. I like to think I'm patient, but having to go dropping notes every few weeks does seem a bit naggy. Is it wrong?
I'll have to check, but it was last year. Waiting on a couple of projects from different artists. I know how it can be, life, business, etc. I just feel bad going "hey, how's it going"? etc.
You paid for a product. The least an artist could do is keep you updated on start dates, progress, deadlines, etc. A note every few weeks should be coming from them, so if you're having to follow up don't feel bad at all!
Exactly my thoughts lol. No artist is too busy to at least give an update. If they don't have time to update everyone individually, give a mass update journal
if they have a visible queue then i don't feel the need to heckle them but then again i haven't waited on many for a year. and there is one i do need to contact sometime soon.
Personally, it depends. My rule is: Ask them if they have an idea by when itll be finish and wait a week after that before sending a note. Repeat every week until its done or until another deadline is given.
And holy crap, it's a cluffeh! Dude, good to hear from you again. how's things? :3
Do you use Hangouts at all? I can send you my new account details (I don't remember my old Skype credentials)
