I'm so close!/Ink Blot Information

THE UPDATE
I have been busy with many fursuit-related things, lately. I even made a vast improvement to my fursuit head in my last journal. I made a new fursuit head, and this fursuit head resulted in the creation of my official fursona, which I intend to keep as my main, since it all seems clear.
It started with a prototype-head of a character named Penn. I called him that because of his species. A while prior I invented a species of monster called an Ink Blot. Ink Blots are literally living pieces of ink. To make a creature that was art incarnate and use that just felt so right. So right beyond compare.
Anyway, Penn was a prototype head of my official fursuit. I am now in production of a full-body fursuit of the finished, fully-thought character, who I have named Smudge.
INK BLOT INFO
Ink Blots are something I could go on for hours about. I've even invented a whole "Culture" of sorts for these things. For instance, depending on if it was a part of an ink drawing or just a droplet that came to life, the ink blot will vary in form. A shapeless blob of ink will be able to change form vastly, because it never had a shape to begin with. A drawing will look as it did on paper, with minimal changes. It can still change form slightly, but it feels the most "comfortable" the way it was drawn.
Ink Blots often have creative names that are references to ink, paper or art. "Smudge" "Sketch" and "Penn" are good examples of names. Other examples are names that are just corruptions of words, such as "Enk" or "Paypir".
Ink Blots are curious by nature. They also have been known to periodically mimic things they like. For example, say an ink blot enjoys the company of a cat. The blot will try to act like a cat sometimes.
Blots usually live in groups called "Collages", usually finding their own kind to be as nice a company as that of non-ink creatures. They will often bring home items and display behaviors in order to teach each other of their findings. A Collage of Ink Blots is often is lead by one or two alphas. The alpha is never the strongest or fastest Blot, it's actually the one who's learned the most.
These creatures do not eat, drink or create waste. They can, however, get hurt. If they are wounded, they can only be healed by absorbing more ink. They could use a fountain pen like a Stem Cell Cocktail from the game Bioshock. If an undamaged Ink Blot absorbs ink, it will slowly grow in size, as will its power.
A Blot's powers will be different from each and every members of their species, but the most commonly seen powers involve dripping ink off themselves and using them to make new temporary creatures or weapons. Unless the creature/weapon is returned to the body, the Blot will remain weakened until then.
CONCLUSION
Well, that's all I got to say. I'm just so overjoyed at how well everything's going for me on my fursuit and everything. Can't wait to finish Smudge's fursuit. Bye for now! \o/
