You're probably talking about CSL Plasma/BioSave Resources if you're in ABQ.

It's a good place with good people, they're just forced to uphold the regulations placed by the federal government. It's a shitty situation to experience for sure, but the plasma center isn't really to blame in any way.

its quite common, its mainly there from back when aids was the huge thing every single person was talking about, when they thought it was a gay thing. most places sadly enough, have NOT changed those archaic standards.

not really its mostly out of ignorance and or pure laziness. changing a rule like that is a lot of work suprisingly. however i do think the effort should be put in. but many simply dont want to put all that effort into their work. aka lots of people dont really do their work, they half ass it
