Dell ain't swell

My best friend is having all sorts of problems with the wonderful tech support at Dell.
Let me give you a bit of history.
She bought a really nice laptop a year or so back. Since she had it she's loved it, and any problems she had with it she had it taken care of cause she had it fully warrantieed... Although it seemed like the parts they got in would often not work the first time and had to be reordered. But overall the service was good...
Until recently.
Turns out that her video card was going out. She called Dell and they brought her new parts (which were broken... Again). Her laptop was obsolete and she couldn't get the parts she needed to fix it. She wound up trying to get a new laptop that would operate on the same level as hers... An XPS. After much deliberation, they refused but told her that they would send her a Studio 15. They did, and it was supposed to be at least an equal to the laptop she sent back. But it wasn't. It was a different model number and slower. She's been fighting since.

Sakura has over 100 email correspondences with them and spent a lot of her cellphone minutes on hold with these morons. I hope she takes your suggestion and does what you say ^^
I don't know, I can't see the link from where I am right now... You'd probably do better asking Isinia because I've never done that before either.
