Have you even laid in bed, looked out the window and seen the sun rise?

I did this morning after a night of thought, a touch of revelation.

With Valentine's day around the corner, I thought about the past few years and how kindness, compassion, and the power of a smile touched so many people in my life thus far. Even if those are ones I no longer talk to, or began to walk down a path that they no longer shared with me, the knowledge that they did will still stay with me.

Family.

Friends.

Loved ones.

Those come and gone.

There will be times even a thought comes that I miss and enjoy everything that transpired with the people I've met, even in the darkest times. But even though some of the ones I've met have left, the foundation on how they have shaped me remains. I could never see to repay them no matter what I try.

But they've helped me push forward and move down the path of my life, one step at a time.

And to those that still walk with me....
