I agree. It's dumb people doing stupid shit that is making the fandom look bad. We, furries, get a lot of shit and stupid people out there do crap to make it worse. And it is not just in the furry fandom, it's everywhere. Stupid people ruin crap for other people because they won't think before they do something.

Honestly I don't know what to say... I knew some people can be toxic (fandom or not), but jeebus ._.; This really goes too far on many measures... some people seem not to have standards or if they have pushing them on others. I'm very sorry to hear that others had caused so much trouble and pain for you.

I have people do the exact same thing to me. I had a person calling me a liar because he thought I lied about my grandfather passing away on my birthday.

I suppose this is the world we live in. you shouldn't let those people get to you. They're just being a-holes to try to get a rise out of you. They're called trolls and there's a lot more of them out of the fandom. I've seen firsthand how far these assholes are willing to go.

a buddy of mine lost his wife in a car accident. The minute the car accident went on the news, there was a whole site dedicated to trying to make the husband commit suicide by making him feel like complete shit. it was taken down because of him but the taunting still continued.

people are just assholes online and i know why. It's because they want to hide behind their keyboards too much of a pussy to do anything else. but the minute you feel like crap, they'll know they won. Or at least they'll think they won.

Thats the reason i've unwatched 250 furries over the past week (many more will come) and already blocked a few dozens. Most of them think they beat our feelings. It saddens me.

Probably late and pointless, but I'd just like to add that furries aren't like this. People are. Furries are people, therefor humans are the ones you hate. You can't put one group of people on a high pedestal and expect all of the people who join that group of people to uphold the same principals.

Unfortunately, humans are cruel little assholes, you can't change that. Don't blame furries for it, blame the bad people who made bad choices in their lives and probably had bad parents too.

Since I just got here and know nothing about you, this journal is a little confusing to me so I can't offer any response towards it. All I can say, its not furries doing this to you, its people.
