I wish male pregnancy was perfected.
I mean, the whole things about destroying the functionality of your intestines kinda makes it not worthwhile.

I could only think of such a thing as conceivable as an idea if:
1: if it was done an unusual species
2: if it was done an alien
3: if it was done by a herm
other than that male pregnancyis not something I would want to think much about, and even in those topics it only would draw interest scientifically.
Primarily the only difficulty is cost, or that's what "they" say.
There have been abdominal pregnancy in females, and with this it is pretty much possible to do the same in a male. In females it is super high risk and requires almost full term hospitalization during the pregnancy in order to reduce the risk to any degree of success, but its still very dangerous. If it where to be done with a male, there would be cost of impregnation, probably medication and hormone therapies before, during, and after, as well as full term hospitalization during the pregnancy. We've known this for almost two decades. Because I think that the first few successes would be scientific enough breakthroughs to offset the cost, (legalities could be cleared up before the procedure for those "unsuccessful" attempts) I think that it isn't really so much a matter of cost, but that Fox News Channel and the armies of conservatives and fundies that would descend on the matter, and the resulting drama... much like with whats really holding us back as far as cloning is concerned.
You know those bible thumpers and their little God, whom we're always like over achieving... I mean look over the last century and count how many times we where playing God, and this is the guy that was supposed to have made us out of mud?
Its not so much a matter of loosing functionality of your intestines, but that whole idea made me laugh for the new meaning it gives to having ones tubes tied.
