Seeing Adoptables sell for $500

Really? There's a much better way to spend your money. You do know you're just buying the rights to draw something right?
And then the same people post journals about how they're broke...smh.

its not like theyre forcing you to buy it
for some artists jobs are really tricky to come by and commissions are all they got
idk i know this journal is old i just thought id share my thoughts
There was one person I watched buy an adopt that was literally just a cat with a bow for $300 then posted the next day how broke they really were and got upset that they couldn't sell it for the same price.
To me, you're just buying the rights to draw it. That's just me. I wouldn't spend over $40 at most for an adopt. I can understand closed species but when it's something you can just draw yourself, I just don't see the point. Again, that is just me.
This is mainly geared towards those who buy high price adopts then make journals about how they're broke and need to pay bills.
I'm not angry it just baffles me sometimes~
what irks me the most about it, is that's ALL YOU GET (here's some flat pixels on a screen have a nice day)
when I sell mine over $100 you get a full refsheet and SOME art.
