I realized I haven’t done a journal for a while. I have been working part-time in an office and I recently started a trainee bookkeeping job – yah. I had all of the theory training and I needed experience. (career change) This place offered 2 months training with the possibility to get hired on. I am doing so may hours and it is in an accountant’s office. What are the chances of getting in there? Well I did, and I love it.

I have also been working on “The Challenge”. I am almost ready to post a Dragon commission. I am just finishing the final feathers. It was the challenge. The commissioner wanted a dragon with vision only through the mouth with the option of opening the mouth further - done. She wanted 6 pink slit eyes - done. She wanted pink transparent teeth with oversized fangs – done. I just have to finish the head wings and attach the row of scales down the forehead and it will be finished.

The next project I am going to try is a lion head with the mane. I have all of the supplies and can’t wait to get at it. I am trying to decide whether to make it realistic or tooney. What do you think?

Update

The Dragon Head is Finished - except for the tongue. I have one made but I am waiting for confirmation on the colour.
It looks wonderful.
I had to rip out and redo the wings because the base ended up being too thick. It is just right now.
Just going to have a bite and then take photos and then post them.

Can hardly wait.
