Ryuu-kun, my dragon character, is based on the imaginary friend I wished I'd been able to have as a child. He's also one of the main characters in my At Home comic series. He comes from a world of only dragons called the Ryuukai and is half giant dragon thanks to his mixed heritage. That means he can grow up to forty feet tall whenever he likes, though I'm planning on bigger as he gets older. He came to Dream World via his dreams to start a new life with his parents after leaving his own world. However his parents were taken by Nightmares and his egg was left to hatch in a cave alone. Then my human character Shounen found him one day in that same cave and befriended him, which basically started my comic series.

Ryuu-kun has a sweet friendly personality and is essentially that big huggable giant you wish you could get hugs from every day when you get back from work tired and stressed.

What inspired him was this cartoony art I saw of a traditional Western style dragon with a cute smile on his face. Ryuu-kun basically represents my personal notion that dragons should not be stereotypically represented as evil fire-breathing monsters who kidnap princesses and who knights have to kill in order to say he did a great deed.

I've got plenty of art of him here and on DA, done by myself and others.

My main character is Lyara
She is leads her own country, her people think that she is the reincarnate of there God of creations. She wants nothing more than everyone to get line in harmony with one another, thought the world her lands have been given the nickname of Gardens of Eden. She is just over 3,000 years old. Her fire burns so hot she has a blue glow to her feathers.

- What was the initial inspiration for your character? How did you come up with them? He was one of my D&D character I played a few years before, based on my old 'sona. I wanted to build up a clever sneaky mage character. I liked him enough to let him take the place of my avatar.
- Any particular life events, or turning points? He is an exile of his clan. He choose to learn wizardry in the rank of the Altamira (a human wizard nation) until he was kicked from there for a crime he wasn't able to prouve that he wasn't guilty.
Age? 23yo officially, but in his timeline, 5 years were 'lost' in another plane.
Where they live? Are they rooted in our world, or in their own, do they belong to a particular era? He used to live in the frozen lands of the North
What inspired the colors? I like red-scaled character and everytime I roll a kobold character, he's red by default.

Is there something special about them? Origin story, powers, etc. He's a spellhoarder. His scales can 'hoard' spells used by him or against him, negating the effect and storing it for later. This was a strong ability when he learned about it and learned to use it too.
Do they belong to a species, or are they their own species? At first, he was a Dragonwrought kobold with all special fluffs to enhance the character. And now, I created my own template for 'his clan' : the Wakefire kin.

Very few people know what I sound like, but those that do are surprised with how deep my voice sounds.

My voice is pretty deep, but usually it embarrasses me so I rarely share it. On other people though I think deep voices are really cool! and very endearing.

For me it's my anxiety making me too chicken-shit to say anything, (very) slowly getting better though!

He might look tough and frighting, but he's actually friendly and a little shy at first, until you get to know him better.
Most of the time, he'll actually be farming with his adopted human parents who found him and his brother abandoned in a nearby forest as babies.
Whenever he's not farming, he'll head into town and enter fighting tournaments to win some money for his parents, although he get's quite hungry after fighting, and so he'll eat anything he can grab his hands on.
But he's been more cautious with what he eats ever since a certain incident happened...

Um...I drew an evil looking doctor character a few years ago as just a fun little thing but ended up falling in love with his design. XD

Well, he was an angel, but was caught partaking in...temptation, let's say. He was cast from heaven and landed on earth in the middle ages and was revered for his knowledge in doctoring, though he was just having fun, not actually trying to help anyone. He's responsible for the use of leeches, mercury, and his personal favourite, surgery. ...he's not entirely pleased that surgery is actually helpful nowadays. :P

He lives...wherever he wants. He doesn't have a set "home", and just kind of meanders wherever he pleases, though he is confined to either the earthly plane or Hell.

Stunning! I also love the whole surgery bit, honestly reminds me a little bit of people like Aristotle who used to cut animals and stuff open just to see how they worked, he didn't think they could feel pain though. Though disturbing and well torturous it taught the world a lot. Though, that was his intent, not so much an accident.

Fallen angel designs are so cool, I love the goat demon aesthetic a lot.

I suppose I can join in and talk about my main character and persona, Ryltohn Guillermo Talus. He originally wasn't even my persona, it was a different character I had made. But back then, I was notoriously horrible at making too many characters.
Nevertheless, he became my persona and then changed a lot, from color (was once green and silver, then became varying shades of grayand blue), to looks, to name (It WAS just Guillermo Talus, which was nice because my username back then was GT and Guillermo is actually my name). Thats a pain to shorten though, and I wantedsomething unique, thus Ryltohn happened) , to multiple personality and ability changes (oh god, he was once SUCH a mary sue), until I finally have a somewhat semiclear canon of MOST of his life and what he's able to do. In a way, he's me as I wish I was; taller, smarter, actually good with computers, a way cooler guy. He also ages along with me, having the exact same birthday that I do, just 5 years prior. Its a bit stupid, but meh. Its occupied many hours of my time and gave me a good bit of enjoyment.

I don't recall the last time I was bored, probably in high school. I'm just a curious individual and I think people like to share things about themselves but don't always have the opportunity to. I would like to make people feel valid and important and I am genuinely interested in the things that they have to say, and character development (as well as personal development) is a key interest of mine!

I like your characters name a lot, and nothing about them is stupid! And believe me I've had many a Mary Sue.

Okay, here goes:

My character is Rokujō Kigai, a polar/grizzly hybrid with some faerie heritage from my mom's side (think Maleficent, not some girly pixie shit); I'm a Necromancer skilled in Dark Magick, and aslo skilled in Geomancy (terrain-based abilities). In battle, I weardark green robes and a skull helmet, and wield a 7-pointed trident; casually, I usually wear all black (shirt, pants, shoes, you get the point). Oh, and the goggles; can't forget those.

Attitude-wise, my character is a reflection of me IRL: incredibly intuitive, empathetic, and has a strong connection to those I care about; also, well-versed in remembering all kinds of information and facts, and also has a natural way to charm others with talking (many traits associated with my birth sign, Gemini); On the flip-side, I/Roku also have a tendency to speak bluntly, and is also horribly honest to a fault; also, incredibly stubborn and uncompromising, always needing proof to believe in anything.

Originally, I intended to be a bull (to accentuate my obstinate nature) but eventually settled with being a bear, since I'm more bear-ish IRL than bull-ish (I have more fat than muscle).
The name Rokujō is the Japanese word for "anger" or "rage", to show my short temper and explosive personality.

Also I love geomancy far and away not used enough in fantasy. Fairies (sp) as well I have a very mtg background and they made some bad ass fairies in there, so i rarely picture like tinkerbell when someone says fairy.

Initial inspiration: At first his hair was to make fun of Anime characters... then I fell in love with his design. Why he's a gryphon, a friend of mine's had the last name Griffin. Looked up what it was and loved the creatures ever since.

Age: Probably Mid 20s

Long story short:
He's a lightning elemental with a symbiot-like bug in him that can let him do stuff pictures above. He wields a scythe because his mom wields a spear and father a giant axe and didn't wan to choose which of the two to train him. (Also I was very much into Soul Calibur 3's Zasalamel :) He can't "shoot" lightning without a conduit of some kind, like his scythe, otherwise he builds up a large charge and, like with static electricity, closes into his opponent to release that charge.

Species: Well he's a gryphon Elemental. That's all I got for now. ^_^

He was all scaly, with pretty large scales, no hair/fluff, like a typical big bad Dragon

pretty much speculation on previous lives, based on what feels natural as my perceptions and perspectives.

i don't really have a character that i've consciously created.

i have several names, but mostly they're at least partially this person i may have been before i was born as a human on this earth.

they were never as simpler creatures but always as people on other worlds, possibly in other, parallel universes even.

themnax, the name i use here, (and any place i can get away with using it in real life) was a member of a galactic council, all members of which were from different worlds then each other, and the one he was from was more forest and mountains then open ocean.

now fingol, being a fantasy character, was influenced both by something called elfquest, in which i took the fan name of dreamtoucher, and also the s.c.a. i lived with some members of for a while, and also a bit of exploring new age neo paganism for a while, intern influence of celtic and egyptian.

none of these are exactly fursona as such. i just haven't really developed anything like that. i haven't really thought about it much since then, but i suppose fingol really is an independent character. something like the little grey guy in e.t., but living in a kind of midevil celtic landscape. there really was a fingol in the de danu of course. there's a fingol's cave on the island of staffa, i think its called, over near mann and sky. places i've never been.

but themnax again, is basically just me. other then that he looks a bit like, well he looks like what you see him/me as, over in my pictures. green, furry, somewhere between cat and mustalid, with an orange blaze up the center of his face and over the top of his head with a blue third eye spot in the middle of his forehead.

but appearance is just appearance, as i don't see the awareness as having very much to do with whatever appearance might happen to be.

i think i understand science fiction, that recognizes there really is a universe, big enough for everyone's imagination, better then i do furry, which seems to be about just having bodies that look like combinations of things on just this one world.

i think environment is the most important science, because everything comes from that, but every world has its own environments too.

My character, Felix Nightingale, is a white tiger that lives in a more technological future. He has powers over "space" in general. He can make portals to other places, create balls of fire, create icicles, and control stone. His first name comes from the actor who played Felix in The Troop. His last name comes from the Nightingales in Skyrim; i like to play a more sleek, thief character. His powers come from a book I read. Right now, I have only fanart based on him but soon I'll get some more regular pictures of him. I still improving on my drawing skills as well.

Goats are some of my favorite animals and I wanted a sona with a simple color scheme that was easier to draw than my Sphinx (human heads, wings, and feral...bad combo). I felt like the Sphinx design was too distant to represent me as my only sona anymore.

So I brainstormed with my best friends and came up with a brown palette, and a goat and cougar hybridization. She's basically me with fur- same body type, same personality, same likes/dislikes. For how simple the design is, it took me about a week to tweak it to where I absolutely loved it and felt I couldn't improve it. She doesn't have any special powers or a different universe.

I haven't seen many other goats or cougars around here so she feels unique to me

Inspiration? Well I was always fascinated with dragons. DH didn't have a form though until I had a short dream that I was him. The name comes from a domain name that I have and I use it as I am not creative with names. Years ago when I wanted to have my own domain name I thought that it had to have dragon in it, then I just started attaching words to it until I found something I liked.
Life event would probably be him discovering his love of bugs.
Age? Around mid-20s in human years.
Lives in a cave-like house thing built in the deep forest. (It was difficult getting utilities there.)
Based in basically a very similar world and time, but with anthro critters.
Favorite art piece with DH would probably be my current FA avatar which I probably won't change for another long time.
Something special would be regeneration ability which is used to supplement income as rescuing insects doesn't pay well.
