HERE ME OUT. I swallowed my pride and maintained a gallery here again... what if..........................
I still rather dislike this website, but I miss the people, using it for connections at cons, etc, w/e, and might as well extend my reach to as many places as possible, rrright? I've been checking my inbox pretty consistently for the last few months to ooh and aah at the art here, so. Might as well use it.

I get it's a free site, but if it's got issues, and the people speak up about them, the owner should look into them.
But enough me bitching about FA's problems, good to see you on here again! I watched you on DA, but I abandoned that long ago.

I really miss seeing your art. D: Although I watch you on tumblr and dA, I don't really follow those sites as I don't really click with the community. It would be super mega great to see your art here again!

I choose to stay here because I'm fortunate enough to have a positive effect on some of the people who come here.
You can't let shitty people keep you from being kind and having a positive effect on others or from being good to yourself and doing things that bring you and others a lot of happiness. I think it's worth sticking around here because despite how shitty the site can be the positive effect it has on the community (I feel) far outweighs whatever negative there is about it.

That said I can understand the dislike for FA A LOT. But in the end it really isn't the site itself that matters, I guess.

I love your work, and Im glad youve decided to come back this way. Youre a pretty influential member of this community. The mods might be a bunch of dongs sometimes, but its the cool people that stick around (or come back :P) that make this place worth coming to.

I ragequit a videogame forum about a year ago because of some unpleasant/ill-considered things that were being said about furries - though it wasn't so much what was being said about furries which angered me - rather that all-too human tendency too slip into the 'us and them' mindset - i.e. "These people are different so let's talk shit about them and make sweeping statements about how they are all pervs and weirdos lolderpaherp."
So yeah, I was angry about that for a while but I kinda turned that negativity around and decided to be the kind of person that encourages difference and embraces the strangeness and lunatic fringe in other people (within sensible reason). I saw somebody say something further up the page about 'taking on the mantle' of being a 'positive and encouraging influence upon others' so yeah I'd reiterate that.
I mean, not knowing why you personally quit the site.
I mean I'm personally never going back to that videogame forum, personally.
And yeah, I've always admired your artwork so it's nice to see that you've worked through whatever it was that upset you.

And like I said on Twitter, there's no shame in using all your outlets. You're just trying to make a living like anyone else. Using a site doesn't mean you agree with everything the mods have ever done, you know? Ultimately, just do what you feel comfortable with.
I would totally follow you on other places but I found Tumblr to have an awful interface and quite the toxic community, and DA... is DA, so WELL I'M GLAD TO SEE YOUR STUFF AGAIN!
