[UPDATE] abusive household..

please read this journal about my return. My roommate just physically assaulted me while I was trying to get the rest of my belongings from her room. I called the cops, and they did nothing about it because I have no bruises.
The police will not do anything to help me get my cat, and says that I need to go to small claims court with evidence that I am the owner..
I'm scared, and I'm trying my best to cope with this situation...
