Hmmm PSA on Mary Sues. It always makes me angry on the Mary Sue’s creators behalf when I see people fling shit, or talk shit about Mary Sues. I mean girls are all about defending other girls riiiiiiiiiiiight? I wish people would stop and think that maybe some people have Mary Sues as coping mechanism.. for like being aromatic or asexual or being a survivor of sexual assault/rape. LORD KNOWS WHEN I DID IT HELPED ME. More so Alhazad which might be why I have all the fetishes that I have now, but was this safty net to explore things with myself and not feel shame or dirty or worried or whatever the fuck and all those horrible things that go through your head after that happens.. It was like HEY SOME HORRIBLE SHIT HAPPENED TO ME. Even though Alhazad and Verg were huge perverts in my head I’m sure Al wouldn’t make sexual advances unless given permission and Verg would crush the wind pipes of any disgusting human who assaulted a woman or man or whatever was apart of his harem. So… yeah it made me feel safe and its totally cool and even encouraged by me for girls (and boys too) to have they Mary Sues and imaginary relationships with characters from fiction.
