I think it's about time I just stop submitting to FA. It's far too frustrating to submit and submit and submit and submit and continue to submit and put days of effort into tracks at a time to just get it blown off because there was porn on the first Browse page that you thought looked cooler.
I'm not trying to call anybody out or anything like that, but people that have been a part of FA for a year less than me with less than half the submissions are getting twice the views and notoriety. And that just isn't fair. I'm not saying this like my being around FA for longer is a factor in me being better than anybody - because I'm not. It takes alot of effort to come up with something truly original and follow through on it, and I have respect for everyone that does art and otherwise on this site.
So what is it? Do I just suck? I know my sound is bad and my guitar playing isn't the most awesome in the world, but it would be great to have that validation - even if it's negative - and I hereby handout thank-yous for everyone who's commented on my stuff so far.
Which is like 6 or 7 people.
I digress.

If the people in question don't have enough of an attention span to click on your submission or hit 'play,' they're not going to have any opinion at all on what you make. Focus on having a small, intelligent following- it's far more worth it in the end.
Some mastering and some other instruments would really be all you need. Honestly. You've got the beginnings of some great stuff.
