Vaer, I'm really sorry to hear about all of this. I think you're an incredible person and I think you make every event and meet up so much more fun for everyone (and I still really hope this doesn't dampen your spirit enough to not go to BLFC). If you're interested in starting to get into a career or something, I'd recommend going to jvs in San Francisco and taking their free classes (helped me a lot, especially getting a perspective on what I wanted to do and how to go there) as well as The Centre in sf. All free, really helpful, they even have a lot of connections with local businesses and non profits. Come to Berkeley meet Tuesday and I can tell you more if you want.
