VancouFur & Guest of Honour duties!
A pretty late announcement on my part, but I've had the privilege of being asked to be a Guest of Honour at VancouFur, which is happening... in 4 days!?
I've been working with their staff since July to put together some things for the con, so I do hope you'll enjoy them!
I have a few panels that I will be hosting & co-hosting:
• Artist Meet and Greet, Thursday 9pm
• Artist Cat-astrophy! Charity Drive, Saturday 4pm (P.S. Looking for more artists here, if you want to join!)
• Introduction to Digital Art (with Soulscape and Sigil), Saturday 8pm
• Where in the World is Carmen Sandingo? (with Detective Superintendent Kieren, Sunday 11am
Where to find me
If I'm not busy running a panel, I'll likely be at the Dealer's Den with Fluff-Buddies! We're at Table #27 in the Pavilion Room.
We'll have the full range of products there, though our stock is a bit limited this year due to travel restrictions. Come early for the best selection!
I'll also have various prints, sketchzines and such at the table, including full poster sizes of the Indiana Bones parody piece. If you're interested, do stop and have a look!
Also, please feel free to just to say hullo if you like :)! Don't feel like you need to make a purchase to swing by, I love meeting folks and won't be able to get out much until the Dealer hours wrap up! I do my best to greet people as they come, but please don't hesitate to give me a poke even if it looks like I'm buried in work.
Convention Commissions
I will be taking a very limited number of traditional commissions at the table (sketches and badges). It's usually best to come early if you would like a slot! I will not be accepting any take-home work or digital unfortunately, as I am currently committed to finishing some owed work. I will be closed indefinitely for any other commissions until those are completed.
Contact
At the convention, the easiest way to get a hold of me will likely be by Twitter: @Seyscribbles
I will change notifications to be instant for the duration of the con. If you have my cell number, text is another quick way as well!
I'm still pretty nervous about it all but looking forward to seeing my west coast friends and awesome people there :)!
