This started as a cute little fantasy. Buy a big bad bridge camera, super zoom, take photos, put it in a bow and ignore it. That hasn't worked out so well for me. I went from my Fujifilm S9400W super zoom bridge camera to a full on a professional camera... A Fujifilm X-T1. I went from taking photos straight out of my camera and posting them, to owning Adobe Light room and utilizing its potential to make the images look good... at least to me. What started as a basic fancy, has turned into a bit of an obsession..... Controlling light, creating interesting effects, playing with all the settings... I went from knowing next to nothing about Photography, to being unbelievably picky about it.... Oh well, at least I didn't decide to collect gold bars... though it might of been cheaper.
