My father died peacefully tonight at Wheeling Hospital. He had pneumonia and small cell lung cancer.

I knew he was going to leave us soon, but I wasn't sure when. He refused treatment when it was offered, which was expected, and I didn't want to make him suffer for my family and my own selfishness. It was better than he went this way rather than trying to live out a few more weeks or months. I loved you, daddy. I'm going to really miss you. </3
