Well, I have said that a snake-person might know of and possibly observe BOTH the day when his egg was laid and then also the day he hatched. In a clutch of multiple eggs, you'd share the same Lay Day with all of your clutch-mates, but then the Hatch Days might vary a bit.

Well, that's two different days! One day were you're borne into the world, out of your mother, in your egg.. one might call that your birthday, but my family calls it your 'Lay Day', and THEN also your Hatch Day, when your egg actually hatched, or rather, when you hatched out of your egg.

My Lay Day was like a week ago, haha.

No, I think on Lay Day you would just hang out with / get back in touch with your clutch-mates and/or parents, like.. have a big communal meal.

Presents for individuals are on Hatch days, like birthdays for mammals.
