i sit there and flop around my bed to keep entertained x3.

I move around CONSTANTLY and I seem to cough a lot when I'm trying to fall asleep... which is why I don't have company stay overnight very often :P

yeah even when I'm awake I can't stop moving, I tend to shake a bit, and I fidget a lot. once I broke my glasses and I just stopped wearing them for a few hours before I taped them back up, but even without them on I was moving my hands to my face to mess with my glasses. I don't even think I stop moving when I sleep either, my bed is always a mess when I wake up :P

tv and eating just stimulates me, I think it's the whole reason I couldn't fall asleep in the first place ^^;;

I must just be crude cus when i cant sleep for a good period of time i just go on the inter webs, get some good porn and paw off till im exhausted, then i sleep like a baby ^^

internet usually fires my mind up when I usually want it to kinda slow down, my thoughts often keep me up too

hehe thats true, but its only a means to and end, i dont stay on the internet long, just to download some stuff to help me relax :P i always find physical exhaustion is the best way for me to sleep, and working out takes too long so sexual exhaustion is alot easier :D

I always seem to get sidetracked on the net... like just this morning I was checking my new messages on deviantart and I ended up watching at least 7 new artist :P

i usually lay there till i fall asleep. Sometimes when it gets really bad I go take a hot bubble bath because it relaxes me and makes me feel better even when missing many hours of sleep

call me weird, but I find it difficult to relax when taking a bath, it just feels like there's nothing to do... but then again my bodies in constant motion, I just don't enjoy laying around in a tub for to long (I try anyways sometimes)

How about music? Everyone in my family listenes to music to fall asleep. My mothers listens to the Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone soundtrack, (Say what you will. It conks her out in five minutes or less.) My sister listens to her iPod, my brother does Guns n' Roses, and I listen to whatever.

When i can't sleep,i usually watch some stuff on youtube or play a game, something that's not going to stimulate my brain too much, sometimes browse porn and fap. If i REALLY want to sleep, i lay in bed and play my ds with the lights off and that often gets me to the point where i can sleep.

What i don't do is really intellectually stimulating things like draw, watch a good movie or read because what keeps me from sleeping is my brain moving too fast, i'm trying to slow it down.

I browse the net, play my xbox 3sexy, or cuddle with my dog until I get even more sleepy

usually, i get some good porn and fap. Gets you going and tires you out after climax, you come down in a relaxed state and its much easier for me to fall asleep.

... it seems that it's a general idea that sexual exhaustion can help you sleep, but the number of replies suggesting it are a little suprising ^^;;

I typically listen to music, browse the net, and/or draw aimlessly. Sometimes doesn't work though u.u

I suggest getting more exercise during the day, closer to the beginning of the day. Therefore, when you get closer to the end of the day, you'll feel more tired, and you're body's ready to sleep.

I usually read, or lay down for a while and keep my eyes closed. But sometimes I'll take a shower to relax my muscles.

And then there's that suggestion that isn't recommended - Take some Tylenol PM or something else that makes you sleepy.
