I really appreciate that your art is cheap and that you want everyone to have a a shot at great art!

Since i notice that u do art journals about every other day maybe don't allow ppl who had 2 slots in one batch till at less 2 batch have been done, that way could allow other people to get slots.

i just say that bc i have seen u do a few for the same ppl each batch, so maybe limit tham 2 slots for ever other batch?

Can't say what a better method could be considering the huge amount of works you do in a limited time.

I only brought up the idea because I personally have been watching and waiting for months. I understand that you don't want to deter your "regular customers" but at this point, no one else seems to be able to have the chance to become a "regular." It's extremely discouraging when you wait for months, always monitoring and hoping and trying your hardest for just one slot that you never end up getting.

I know it'd be difficult to come up with a system and you don't want to limit people but at this rate there are a good number of us who are starting to feel like we'll never have a chance while others are raking in dozens of your commissions. I've gone through some the people I've seen who regularly obtain slots from you and they have 5+ commissions from you alone. And then I'm just over here with jack shit.

I don't want to be rude or to tell you how to do things or anything like that. But that's just how some of us feel. Like unless we're one of your "regulars" we'll likely never have a chance.

Yeah I'm thinking the same sorta thing cause I think I've been watching you for even longer than a few months but between limited times I can come online and limited funding I've actually already given up on trying to get a commission from you. Cause ever time I see a journal I look and by the time I get there everything full. So even if I had the money it wouldn't be able to happen.
I know right now criticism doesn't really help and i understand your situation but I'll see what solutions I can think of and maybe come back and offer some suggestions.

I really really appreciate you for trying your best for a chance at art for everyone but also I totally agree with luxuriaChronos idea. Or at least a variation of it to fit your liking, like if say try to keep track of 2 total per person so that could hold that person until a few more batches in the future. I think it's a lot more work though >.<

Also maybe you could priortize people in some way that hasn't gotten something from you in the past over some people who has gotten many bundles already.

Sometimes you catch the journal in time and sometimes not, that is normal and I think the actually shedule is better for you. Less stress and everyone has the same chances when you open mostly every day a small batch. Sure some peoples are mad but that happens always, not even 100 were enough for some peoples...

Says the person who's received more than 10 commissions from Naomy...

See this is what I mean. I go through and see stuff like this and just kind of want to quit. Because chances are you'll get five more and I'll get nothing by the end of the week. Why? I have no idea. But maybe having some warning WOULD help. If not a system, just a "Hey, sometime tomorrow I'll be opening commissions" or something.

Yes I have quite a lot from Naomy but I have the same chances as everyone here, I work fulltime and I sleep.

Btw I waited around 6 months for some of the pictures, from the last 5 or 6 batches I got 2 batches in time...

Naomy isn't favouring someone, sure it is sad when you miss a batch but there is always another one, she is doing them actually mostly daily so high chances for everyone.

Have you even considered time zone differences and how that effects people too? I always get slapped with the time zone issues for commission announcements, kinda sucks. But I accept it and move on XD Sometimes I set alarms to wake up at 4am to catch slots if I know XD

Yeah I know the problem and I know it is sad, I'm from germany so Naomy is just 1 hour ahead. I missed many US Artists already because I was mostly sleepig in that time. Timeszones are shit xD

Preventing people from back to back is the fairest or possibly 2 per week. This should be manageable with minimal effort on your part. And I am saying this as one who has gotten 6.

Honestly, I think having a cooldown period for people who have already a slot or two from you could work pretty well, maybe a week or two at maximum? It limits one person ability to get multiple slots from you on a near daily basis and gives more people a chance to get a potential commission, thus giving you more customers, and keeping the work load pretty much the same.

All honestly, You are doing it just fine. Yeah it sucks when we miss a spot but thats our own fault. Just like its no ones fault that we didnt win the lottery. Take commission how you want too and they will get filled. People are only complaining because you have an amazing style and very cheap. Dont let the whining furs bring you down because sooner or later they will get a slot.

Yeah just do what you need to to keep things running smoothly for you.

Maybe letting people note you when your slots are full, so they can either be priority for the next batch of commissions or even if they can be additional commissions for that batch would be great. You'd be getting the same amount and it'd be nice for those that miss out. :3 What you have is a good system but it's seeming a little unfair on those who wait to get a chance and end up being sniped from faster people or even regulars who constantly show up.

Naomy, it's great what you're getting with now, it really is. I'm glad you're controlling your workload more.

Your current system works fine - with the random times you're putting out your open journals, all it really comes down to is luck, not favouritism. If any changes I'd recommend, is:

1) Only one slot per customer

and

2) Customer's can't order twice in a row, but that's if you're keeping up with your current pace. So, like, if someone orders in one batch, they can't get another in the next, but they can in the one after that.

Over all, though, you can't please everyone, as this entire journal is evidence of. So do what you feel is right. :)
