Dinosaur Planet Fanseries

Hey guys, I thought I should tell you about something special. For about four years, I've been working on an animated fan-made series based on the unreleased N64 game Dinosaur Planet. For those who are unaware, back in 90's, when Rareware was on top of their game with hits such as Donkey Kong Country, Banjo-Kazooie, and Killer Insinct, they were creating a new IP that was to be the last game created for the Nintendo 64, Dinosaur Planet. Sort of a Zelda-esque adventure game, this was Rare's most ambitious project with full voice acting, detailed backgrounds and animations, and expansive worlds that would push the N64's hardware to the limit. The story was about two adopted siblings, in search of their missing father, who must save a planet in peril by returning six sacred stones to the Force Point Temples, all the while facing many dangerous challenges such as an evil tyrant, a giant, destructive dragon, and the Majestic Eight.
After the game was shown at E3 2000, Shigeru Miyamoto (creator of Mario and Zelda), wanted Rare to change the game into a Star Fox title after comparing the main character of Sabre to Fox McCloud. With Rare losing money at the time and having to be sold by Microsoft, they had no other choice and retooled the game into what we know today as Star Fox Adventures. Nearly 1/2 of the original content was cut and the storyline of Starfox Adventures became a plothole ridden mess.
The story of Rareware's last game is not forgotten, even after many years had passed and now me and a small team of artists are here to pay tribute to the original game, in animated format.
We've had a production blog on Tumblr for a while now, which you can find here: http://dinoplanetfanseries.tumblr.com/
But just recently our project just got public attention on a few gaming websites: http://www.gamnesia.com/news/star-f.....t#.VQRigI54p61
Our team is currently small, but we're looking for more voice actors and animators to join. If you'd like to be a voice actor, you can audition at the Behind the Voice Actors casting call page: http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com.....et-Fan-series/ . If you'd like to be an artist or animator, just comment or PM me and we can talk over some things. Or if you want, try to spread the word about this and let people get interested.
I have no doubt that me and my team will succeed in reviving this lost story back from extinction.
Till then, take care.
