Good free animation program?

I'm wanting to do some simple animations. I'm not looking into doing anything fancy, just like... sketched loops and whatnot.

Anything free+good out there that I can use? :O

Pencil is ok, very lightweight, low learning curve.

A bit crashy though, so save often.

it's not free but sketchbook pro 7 cost around 60 dollars that's what I use

If you use sai there is an animation tool called said animation assistant. Completely free.

If you use Photoshop, there's an animation feature within it, though I only use it for plain animation. Still, if you're going frame by frame, this is a nice way to do it.
