Received a Disturbing Call

So I'm watching Falling Skies when I get a call saying I've been randomly selected to win a grand prize from the Publisher's Clearing House. I of course told them that they were just trying to scam me, this led down a path I did not anticipate. I expected the caller to simply hang up, but no, this guy started asking me to perform some very detailed sexual acts on him. After a couple minutes of this he told me that he was going to send someone over to my house to cut off my genitals and my hands and "do me bad". At this point I called 911 and reported the number, police are looking into it currently. So yeah, not an ordinary day it seems.
Update: Now that I've had time to sit and think about the conversation I can recall some even more disturbing little details. Throughout the call the man had assumed I was a woman; after I told him I was male he started asking me if I was "a gay". When he began issuing threats he also said he would send a suicide bomber over to my home along with inflicting genital and appendage mutilation upon me. These types of punishments made me think of the homosexual punishments in older Islamic texts. So that's either a coincidence or this guy was some sort of religious extremist, which makes me worry a bit more to be honest.

He didn't threaten me and I never heard from him since, but it was a right creepy as he knew my name and my sister's name, so it wasn't a wrong number.
but in general, without an imminent threat of danger, they most likely will laugh it off over lunch.
probably using a TOR browser too, so don't bother, and i wouldn't take it too seriously honestly.
depending on what state you're in, if someone places a hand in your window or door without you allowing it, he aint gonna have a hand anymore.

i'm really not kidding either, i got my hand on my butterfly Balisong the entire time i'm walking to 7-11. it's just a part of one's responsibility of being alive, and living. Doesn't matter what neighborhood.

but srsly, i wouldn't think too much about a dumbass troll attempt like that. that's all it is. if your caller ID doesn't turn up anything (use the "Reverse phone search" on whitepages.com i use it on all wierd calls)
So, don't take this personal, but someone who's coming after you, isn't setting the bar very high, let alone risking sending a "suicide bomber?" and bothering to do "genital mutilation" before that? that's a lot of wasted effort.
