Unexpected Side Effects of Fursuiting
General
Being a novice fursuiter (celebrating my first anniversary in 5 days!!!), I have noticed that I am incapable of making visual memories while in fursuit. I can remember other sensory elements (like what people said to me, how someone hugged me, etc.), but I literally cannot remember a single thing I have seen while in fursuit.
Is this a common thing? Do others experience fursuiting in this way? It leaves me with a very, very strange sense of craving more suiting events as they become a "only enjoyable in the moment" sort of thing.

FA+

Some good, some bad, but overall, I like it ^.^
Maybe its the character/actor in you coming out and you're just having a good time.
I do have to admit, I see videos of Shawshank and stuff and I'm like, "Oh hey look! I love this suiter so much!" because it's like it's a different person than myself o.o
I don't know if I could handle having multi-vision while/after suiting. That would make me quite ill <x.x>
I believe it may be from the reduced eye sight/ smell and hearing that the events while fur suiting may not be logged as well in the memory.
I have experienced what you are talking about to a point. Later on a picture or video will help me recall the event or interaction.
Fur suiting is something I enjoy. Since I don't get to do it every day I hunger for the opportunity to suit.
To me it's like coming into contact with a long lost friend I hold dear...
Enjoy the experience ^_^
sounds bad but most of the time I'm pretty much loaded while in suit, theres videos of me being a total tool while out and about and for some reason I'm the whole toolshed while I'm on the dance floor! yes theres a video
so yea, I can safely say I don't remember a lot of what goes on while I'm in suit. :P
suitin' is the best!
And...honestly, I cannot remember anything other than the sounds you made in yer room when Shawshank visited xD
Haha, probably cause vision is somewhat different when in suit, especially with tear duct vision heads.
One is the 'circular kind' with the blind spot in the center.
The other has what I describe as vision when wearing a visor or goggles, and has no blind spot in the center.
But for positioning (specifically photos), yeah I kind of imagine where my character's eyes are looking rather than where I'm actually looking. Your mind probably remembers it differently.
