Why would they take legal action against us users if the site fails?

Like all news on FA, everyone is going to freak out with or without a good reason. Most of the panic so far has been pretty baseless, with some of it already debunked. It's FA. Stay calm and ignore all news ever. :x

I'm mostly interested in how neer sold the site when he didn't own all of it to begin with. panderp on twitter is saying he owns part of the site and was unaware of this merger until today.
Not to mention the fact that neer actually worked for imvu before this happened in January and what sort of incentives he was given for selling it.
A lot of curious stuff is happening and neer isn't providing any sort of in depth info on it. I removed most of my art until I know for sure nothing is changing in the terms of service and upload policy.

Rest assured, IMVU is *NOT* taking FA content, redistributing it, reposting it, using it in-game, etc. It's your content. Only FA has the right to show it if you upload it to the site. No one else. - IMVU.
