In Regards to the Buyout

I know always that I am an outsider; a stranger in this century and among those who are still men.
I think this entire situation can be summed up with this quote from Terry Pratchett's Night Watch:
"Ave! Duci novo, similis duci seneci," murmured Mr. Slant drily, as only a zombie can manage. "Or, as we used to say at school, 'Ave! Bossa nova, similis bossa seneca!'" He gave a schoolmasterly laugh. He felt at home with dead languages. "Of course, grammatically that is completely-"
"And that means...?" said Madame.
"'Here comes the new boss, same as the old boss,'" muttered Doctor Follett.
