I don't always do this, but some people just deserve to be mentioned, especially on their birthdays.

On this first day of Spring, even though its cold and snowing for us, lets remember that the world is still a beautiful place, even with its flaws and hardships. That no matter what, there's a person in this world who will love you. And that one man tried to teach an entire generation of children that, among other things, with sincerity and humility.

So I'd like to wish a happy birthday to the late, great Mr. Fred McFeely Rogers, who would look at the snow and still tell us it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
