I've donated zero dollars towards this website and have had adblock active as soon as it was available; I feel as though I've finally gotten my moneys worth. To the artists and creators out there determined to stick by FA, you should know how naive you are. Do you know that FA has an onion server that illegally backs up all submissions made to FA, permanently? Any submission that any artist or writer or composer has uploaded to FA is there to stay, even when you think you've removed it. And now, IMVU owns all assets to FA. If you don't know who IMVU is, or why it matters, you really should. IMVU is not what I would describe as a very well respected company. IMVU is the knockoff second life, and they're notorious for stealing content from users for themselves. You ever looked for games or apps for your smartphone and get pissed because so many of the apps or games are shitty knockoffs full of adds or malware? That's IMVU's business model.

Now you're part of the IMVU family. For the last two months, in fact, perhaps longer. FA was sold to IMVU while 'Neer was still collecting donations to save the site. Is this what the furry fandom is, to you? Lies, deceit, manipulation, all protected by a stubborn and naive audience who refuses to accept that they've been misled. It's not easy to accept you were wrong, but the furry fandom has been wrong about FA for years. This place is nothing but a toxic influence on your community. By all means, do what the trolls 20 years ago couldn't do- make the furry fandom so splintered and so fractured with infighting over stubborn loyalties that it collapses on itself into a bunch of segmented groups. Only, you're doing it to yourselves.

You will never see me upload anything to this account. No stories, no art, no music. If you care at all about the quality of your community and the people in it, you would let go of this place, and let it die. Before FurAffinity, there was Furnation and VCL, and before that, individuals ran their own galleries. Even without FA, the internet will still be here. Leaving FA to crumble into rubble isn't the death of your Fandom, but clinging to this website while it crashes down around you, will.
