they legally cant regardless of what their policies are, idk why everyone thinks this. they can change it for future uploads but cannot retroactively change it to stuff prior to the purchase

If I'm not mistaken the whole issue of people even thinking IMVU would have any of such rights to anyone's work were just based on someone hypothesizing. There's been so much anger and frustration about all these things because people want to make decisions or antagonize without having the facts they need (nothing aimed or implied at you).

Personally I believe what most of these 'migrations' are is simply something of a knee-jerk reaction. Almost like screaming iceberg! and jumping ship when spotting someone painting an iceberg on deck. IMVU's TOS is not FA's TOS and even if FA were to change they'd have to say that straight out well beforehand.

I think it'd be sad if you left FA entirely, already followed now on Weasyl. Having several places to be seems like a good way to go, not having everything in one basket. But fact of the matter is that FA is still the larger place, weasyl, inkbunny, sofurry or whatever will not be able to take the mantle from FA. What I think is more important to do focus on are the people, no matter the site, it's still the people and or the art, stories etc. that we're looking for. Declaring one a no-go zone is more hamstringing oneself :P
