Found a salamander

And the chickens want it. . but i don't want them to have it. . so imma keep it. One thing .. how does one care for a salamander? Its either a Oregonensis or Xanthoptica species, im not 100% sure. I do however have a ten gallon tank and sand . .thats it though.
This might help in a pinch if store noms don't seem sufficient?
