Seems that no one has any information, and any clues just lead to dead ends. It's possible this is just a pilot to a failed show, which would explain why no one seems to have heard of it or know what it is.

Okay, couple things. All the info I followed and researched seems legit but there's so many dead ends like you said that are making look like a fake. If it's real then it's super rare considering there's the older audience, people from the 80s and 90s, who never saw this on TV or even remember it considering they were kids/teens at the time. A lot of evidence point to a company in PA though there's no actual office building or signs. A lot are thinking it's Super Turbo Usagi Yojimbo since both the characters and the style is similar. It's so weird because I am now invested in finding this. There's just no solid paths that it's frustrating. Considering the painting style it does look like it's from the 80s/90s cartoons. Though there are links to people who worked at WTL Productions. At most the company specializes in audio/video alteration. So if they faked it, it's an amazing hoax. But there's no point to it.

If it is a failed pilot there should be a record of the first episode somewhere. It can't exactly be wiped from the earth. There had to be the VHS copy, animation cells, backup copies, e.g.. It's just....I want to find this now. (currently have like 8 tabs open so...yeah.)

I also saw people linking it with Usagi Yojimbo, though since Usagi is Rabbit in Japanese and Yojimbo was an Akira Kurosawa film about a Samurai, it may be coincidental, though the characters do have a lot of similarities (white rabbit samurais).

Oh, and the main character's name also seems to be Usagi, which is interesting.

It still relates to 'rabbit' in japanese so no real leads there. I also ran into that post in another thread.

Would be interesting to see at least a full episode surface. The youtube uploader said they had it on VHS, but the tape was too damaged. I think it's lucky/convenient that the intro survived, yet not much of the show (maybe 5 seconds?). I read a lot of people saying it was maybe faked, I thought that too, yet there's so much weird stuff too. It just makes me more and more curious.

My sources either aren't responding or coming up empty. So literally nothing exists. T-T I've even started to think that maybe I could animate a short episode just for fun. Out of sheer fandom for the obscure. Though I do hope the episode is recovered.
