Being partial to PCs, I'd say go with E. But if you really prefer Macs, I'd say to get a new one, either C or D.

Go with a PC and get hardware that’s Hackintoshable :) Unless you’re a designwhore like quite a few Mac fans seem to be, it might be a good and likely cheap solution.

For Macs, the new Unibody Macbook is awesome. Costs an arm and a leg, but it’s pretty good at least. Hopefully it doesn’t fry 1 year 1 month into it like the previous MBP series did.

My last note book was a disaster. True it lasted five years, but it cost to keep it running. Had to replace the power cord twice and the hard drive once. Now the hard drive is broken AGAIN on it. I put it in my closet years ago, fed up.

Apple and quality, eh? :/ It’s a shame really, they have a more or less decent OS going on what looks like is well assembled hardware — except it has an abysmal mortality rate.

Our Macintosh Plus still works. :P
