Finally, a good remake.

I know I saw it a month late, but last night I saw the recent Friday the 13th remake with some friends and it was bloody amazing. Best comedy movie I've seen in a long long time. And before I hear people saying it wasn't a comedy, it was to me. I just have that kind of sense of humor. I mean, the part where the guy gets his leg stuck in a bear trap which forces him to watch his girlfriend burning to death made me laugh so hard, they had to come over and tell me to keep it down or I would have to leave the theater. Again, yes, we get our movies almost a month late, depending on the rating. Man, it was an awesome movie. I am a huge Jason Voorhees fan so I was happy to see how they did this movie. It was true to the classics without any bullcrap like what they did in Jason X. And believe me, I was skeptical. During the opening credits, the moment I saw that horrible name...the name that killed The Transformers I actually shouted. I said, right aloud in the theater "God damn mother f**ker Michael Bay! " Seriously, I hate that guy. But he actually did a good job in this movie. But it still doesn't clear him for what he did to Transformers. As far as I am concerned, he's another Uwe Boll. A trail of crap with one good movie. Bay's was Friday the 13th and Boll's was Postal. Oh and for the hell of it, I made sure to ruin that theater's Mens' room. Why? Well, multiple reasons. one of the big ones being that the sink faucets are the kind that the very second you take your hand off of them, they shut off. Not even a three second timer. Just...off. I wont go into detail about what I did in there, but lets just say that when I heard someone else go into that bathroom, they said "Oh god, no!"
