Ok, let's say you work for a well known corporation, a desk job if you will, now, one day you're doing your work, just like any other day, but your boss comes up and says he has am announcement for everyone. Now, this is where he says for the past two months he actually wasn't your boss because he sold the company to someone else, surprise!

How about you realize about 90% of the haters on this site would do a WORSE job of running this site and everything Dragoneer does is panned. He's basically the Obama of the site, despite all the good he does, people will only see the bad and act like everything else that is bad that happens is his fault. And why do you think he waited 2 months? Hell, he would've waited longer if he could've probably. The site gives him flak for EVERY SINGLE MOVE HE MAKES no matter what it is and he gets hell for all of it, he didn't want to put up with it til he absolutely had to. Plus, everything was probably being finalized and at that point, it was all settled. The only "Everyone abandon ship because Neer's the devil!" movement I understood was the hacker being a part of the admins, but he was for how long before anyone found out? And that was his own stupidity that people found him out.

For crying out loud, Neer's human. Despite his sona, he is human and is allowed a mistake or two. You gonna tell me YOU would've done perfect running a site this full of drama and bullshit? I would've shut it down long ago to spite these dickheads, but he has more patience. If you stop buying into every little rant and "leave FA" migration that happened here and just thought everything out logically and realize people can make mistakes, but in the light of it all, he's done better thn most, you WOULDN'T hate on him like this and WOULD support him. As for the IMVU buyout, these guys aren't EA. They aren't going to destroy this site with paid accounts or new TOS's. And even if they do, SO WHAT? How many other sites are there to turn to? Weasyl? SoFurry? Hate to say it due to the abundance of cub porn, but even InkBunny? But there's one little detail a lot of people who jumped at the starting gun missed: NOTHING HAPPENED YET. The site runs just the same now as it did then, and until any of these "end of FA" predictions come true, I'm staying. Yeah, I know my most recent journal says otherwise, and granted, I really am considering leaving because of the hatred, excess drama, and situations like THIS where people go nuts over nothing, but right now, I'm here. And anyone who is seriously considering running before anything bad happens just because the hater crowd says to...well, nicest way to put it, they need to get a clue, do some research, and think for themselves.
