I've created my own species, I've not decided on a name, but here's sort of the idea:
These creatures have no gender, they are celestial, ethereal beings that defend/protect planets and feed off of the energy that the planet gives off aka: is it thriving. They are created from the creation of the planet, unseen to any living creature but one another. They are connected to their planet & will only have one in their lifetime. The health of the planet affects their health. They are the feeling of an entity or god belonging to each planet. The colors of their body are the same as their planets so they can be easily identified.
