I tried eHarmony with a paid account and just never heard back from the people I was interested in. I thought I'd try something free. Apparently there are dating sites for artists which I may look into.

Haha I dunno all my friends seem to use OKCupid but it's not the greatest thing ever either.

If I were to date a woman, it would be one with the same interest in the furry fandom. Not a closed minded one thinking we're just a bunch of people into bestiality..

I get frustrated with the stigma because it is so drastic but a minority but nevertheless number of furs into strange fetishes have really tarnished the image of the furry fandom. I mean when you submit art here you have to scroll past soooo many fetish categories just to submit clean art. I also feel like I'm the only one who keeps their filters and SFW mode on all the time because I hate smut. That stuff is a big part ofcwhy I'm backing off the furry fandom, I'm not comfortable with it. And just because I want to protect my mind it does not mean I'm closed minded or a bigot. We all have that personal choice, I choose to never look at porn, I choose to not do drugs, I choose to go to church and so on.

If I were to date man he would be my age, totally straight and comfortable with his natural body, you know the way God made him. Someone who likes hiking, maybe photography so we can do goofy selfies together, hit the coast/beach, suck at video games, sit and draw together, listen to some Third Day and TobyMac, attend Bible studies and church services together..... Yeah do furries even do this stuff? Usually they're very open to different people but I haven't found that to be the case for me- my JesusFreak side seems to make people uneasy.

There are a few of us, yes! As for single, straight, furry males around your age who are also Christian? That narrows the field a bit, I think, but I'm sure I've seen one or two. If you're looking for like-minded people, maybe take a look at pages like christian-furs, Christianfurries, or christianphilosofurs. (I found these links by visiting fa-groups. You might find more if you take a peek for yourself.)
