NHS doesn't cover physical therapy? Hope you found a solution to whatever was troubling your back.

They might have, however the problem is they were running me in circles and that was just to give me a diagnosis, never mind any treatment. All they did was thrown painkillers at me and tell me to come back if those didn't work. They didn't, and just started causing stomach bleeds. :/ Most cases I wouldn't care too much about waiting, but I was in desperate pain, often too painful and stiff to move, in tears or couldn't sleep or would wake up because the pain was so bad.
So in desperation I went private. its expensive (just under £800) but already I have a diagnoses and am being treated, and the treatments already been reducing the pain Ive been in without having to take painkillers. :)

Ahh, gotcha. Just curious about how your system works (or doesn't) over there. Can you transfer your records from the private practitioner to start getting insured therapy? And if it's not too nosy of me, what did the diagnosis wind up being?

Im not actually insured, so I am not entirely sure to be honest ^^; But i would think its not a problem to transfer those records. and i think at the end of my main course of therapy i get copies of my scans and xrays etc.

As for my diagnosis, I have a large number of things going on in both my lower back and my neck. I have minor scoliosis, which I already knew I had from a diagnosis when I was a child, as well as a pelvic tilt. In my lower back in my L5 i have bad degradation. But most of my real problems stem from my neck. There's some other tilt in the vertebrae where neck and shoulders meet (though this is apparently common in woman, particularly those with a hefty chest) The degradation in my neck is even worse, in fact he said i shouldn't have it so young, that usually he only sees it in people who are 70+ Also found out that the vertebrae connecting to my skull is deformed, smaller than normal and having some kind of loops or such on it x.x
Basically lots of smaller problems adding on eachother creating quite a lot of pain x.x
