Ok so i posted a selection of YCH pieces in my scraps. Some clarification is apparently needed, so here we go
The posted price is the minimum price and just covers a finished sketch. For inks, colors, alts and backgrounds, it costs more (see price list below)
SO we can do this a couple ways, first come first serve or highest bidder. Personally i'd prefer highest bidder, to get the most out of the piece.
BUT i'm not sure if this should be auction work, and there's no incentive to pay over the full commission price.
And they tell me my prices are pretty reasonable, so tell me what you all think

Rough Colors +15$
Full polished colors +40$
Additional Characters +15$
Backgrounds +10$
Alternate versions +10$ each
All payments up front, in full, via paypal, USD.

Did just have an argument with one guy, seemed to think that if i improved my skills and increased my production rate i'd be able to bring costs down to reach more people.
Artists are not picture factories.
but don't worry, i'm sure i'll bump prices up again in a few months.
$25 for a sketch, $15 to ink it and $40 for a polished color would mean a finished commisson, colored, with no background, would be $80?
I consider that real cheap based on what I've seen others charge because I've paid $65 for cell shadings before that didn't have anywhere near the detail and depth that your works do, so I was really surprised at your prices.
I'm not sure if you're familer with Fenoxo or his Corruption of Champions game, but he's given me permission to do a fan game project based on one of his characters, so I was looking for an artist but would perfer someone familer enough with the NPCs in the game that could work without an actual reference sheet from me or get a general idea of the character references from works others have done.
I'm only passingly familiar, can't help with that.
And I love your work, so I hope I can commisson some pieces from you in the future, even if you do raise your rates.
