So despite all the badness described in the last journal, things have been looking up --
little bit at least. My first YCH was autobought. The couples therapist who Big Brother
and I were seeing saw me for my hormone therapy referral, and was comfortable writing
the letter after the first appointment, instead of after two, which is delicious; got'ta
wait until after I actually see the endocrinologist to get excited, though, I'm not making
the preemptive-response mistake again in this situation.

No homelessness issues for now -- my mother decided to stick by her want to keep me
away from her perfect husband, while still abandoning her initial response to our landlord's
behaviour of '-gasp- oh we have to get you out of there!' So we're going to be stuck in
this hovel for another month, looking for somewhere else to live.
