Save Grevy's Zebras!
General
I have been worried about the Grevy's Zebras for quite a while now.
Today, I came across this page:
The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species: Grevy's Zebra at http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/7950 .
"Current estimates put the total population of Grevy's Zebra remaining in the wild in Kenya and Ethiopia at approximately 1,966 to 2,447 (B. Lowe pers. comm. 2008; F. Kebede pers. comm. 2008)"
The time has started to run low for Grevy's Zebra. Actually, it has been running low for a long time.
Let's not let them become extinct because of stupidity of the man like the Quagga did.
We need to act NOW! Not when there are only a handful left.
Please, help them if you can. This site looks promising so far: http://www.awf.org/content/solution/detail/3377
If you can help, donations can be made at: http://www.awf.org/content/action/detail/3335
Please donate! Every little bit adds up.
Even if you can't help financially, it would be great if you could pass the word on to friends and in your journals to raise awareness.

(i´m broke)
I am broke right now, too, and it is driving me nuts. :(
But if you can help raise awareness of the situation, it would be great.
Also, African Wild Ass is critically endangered. They need some help, too.
