Leaving FA - Wiping gallery in a few days

I wanted to wait a few days after April first before announcing this, just so people didn't think I was just trying to prank anyone.
Just wanted to give you guys here a heads up that I’m going to be leaving FA in the not too distant future. I’m not leaving for drama, or in spite of the acquisition of FA by IMVU.
The reason I’m doing it is entirely because of the IMVU ToS. Yes, FA is currently acting as an independent entity, but there is no guarantee that it will stay that way. On top of that since the acquisition happened several months before it was announced publicly, there is no reason to assume that such a changeover will be announced before it happens.
I’m not trying to be inflammatory, but I just don’t like how IMVU’s ToS reads in regards to user submissions.
“... you agree that IMVU is free to use a Submission on an unrestricted basis for any purpose and you grant IMVU a sublicensable, nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to (in any media, whether now known or not currently known or invented) link to, utilize, use, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, distribute, modify and prepare derivative works of the Submission.”

Nope. Particularly reproduce, distribute, modify and prepare derivative works.
Much like FA, IMVU provides a free service. Users are free to use their services, or not use their services. I’m not paying to use either site, so I don’t have a whole lot of say in their policies, nor should I feel shocked or hurt if they change their policies. Of course this also means that I’m not obligated to use their services, which is what I’m going to do.
Once again, I am not trying to be inflammatory or trying to cause drama.
Aaaaanyways… so what does this mean? Well, I’m going to be emptying my gallery in the next few days once I figure out where I’m going to be moving my gallery to. I am trying to decide between Inkbunny, SoFurry, Tumblr or just using Twitter as the main source for my art. Once I have a better idea of what my plan of action is, I’ll be sure to let you guys know.
TL;DR
I’ll be leaving FA in the next few days, and wiping my gallery. I will leave in the profile space where to find my art once I decide where I'll be posting my art.

There's no speculation in reading a ToS that is definitely going to be in use at some point in the future.

But seriously, calm down. Whatever this person's reason for leaving FA, there's no reason to pick at them as if it really involves or hurts you in some fashion.
Also the fact that something hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. You're speaking as if you have some kind of precognition on the subject. If you know something about the future the rest of us don't, speak up.
The world of business is a frightening one at most, and it wouldnt surprise me if there was a fine print IMVU could turn the tables on against us in the future hidden under their rug.
If people think this is some IMVU specific clause they REALLY may want to read the Terms of Service of the sites they're posting to.

Yes, I read all the ToS of the places I've listed.
IMVU is not the evil empire.
Perhaps if IMVU showed us proof that they agreed not to sell our work, the drama would die down faster.
When will he realize that clarifying does no good? Obviously, this artist- like an astounding number of others- will leave. Whether a kneejerk reaction or as a 'last straw' excuse, people are losing interest in FA, and looking for a reason. (We live in a society where things need to be justified, always. 'I got tired/bored' isn't sufficient, socially.)
Dragoneer would serve FA better by staying out of the drama shitstorms for once, looking up a definition of 'transparency' (which is not moot- IMVU prevents this), and actually WORKING ON THE SITE AND GETTING COMPETENT STAFF, FOR ONCE IN OVER A FUCKING DECADE. ONCE, JUST GOD DAMNED ONCE.
Seriously, he needs to stop wasting time on lost causes and focus on making FA a cause worth fighting for.
I started posting in other places too but if things start happening like that I'll have to think on something. Let's hope they leave things separated.
Do you think twitter is a good place to post stuff? I don't really know since I never used it XD Tell us later where you will post your stuff :)
I'll make sure to keep tabs on you, on your other accounts.
I wont be leaving here any time soon until I find out things will stay normal but if I do find out that IMVU decides to take our art and use it on their site or some reason then ill leave. If I made that choice i would stay with Weasyl and SoFurry.
I respect your decision if you 100% decided. I dont have twitter nor will i create one but i hope to find ya on the other fur sites.
