Beginning Note: I will add to this as things happen but seeing as how I have a small rise in commissions I figured I would make this.
WHEN ASKING ABOUT COMMISSIONS
I will send you the link to this journal but if I don't cover the topic I will update this and will apologize and speak with you about it.
When asking, please let me know if you are just gathering research, or you are literally asking for a commission. I don't want to accidentally add you to my queue thinking you're going to buy a commission, or think I need to find time to work it in. It's fine if you ask but I have a hard time telling and don't want to create any issues...but sometimes I'm not dense and will know lol
If you ask about PRICES I will send you this and tell you it's at the bottom and will give examples as to how much a piece of art or story may cost.
If you ask HOW LONG it will be, I cannot give an estimate. I will not ask you to pay til I reach you in the queue, and if you do not trust me, I only ask you pay half at the beginning. I work full time and have been sick for several weeks so I may have the energy I may not but know for sure you will get the art you want and will give you frequent updates so you know how far along I am and when.
WHEN REQUESTING A COMMISSION
ASK how much a "_________" would be. For instance "How much would a two person, one anthro canine, one feral feline fullbody cuddling in a bedroom be?" because each detail may cost more or less. Backgrounds add more. More body showing adds more. The type of feline, like a tiger or leopard would send up the price because of the complexity of markings. All commissions are different.
AFTER ASKING I will get back to you as soon as possible with what each point would cost and why and the overall price, and for the price I would want to pay for something, I would look at it, ask myself how much would I want to pay, and may adjust the price accordingly. I have been known to take off a few dollars because I feel it's too expensive.
This is the point where you tell me "Yes the price seems fair." or "Sorry, I'll pass." I need to know if you'll go with it or not so I know the next step.
THE DETAILS I NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU WANT
I need:
Reference sheets, art, or very thorough descriptions of what characters you want in the piece(s) and how many of them.
What pose you want them to be in/what do you want them doing.
Point of view you want them to be seen EX: Underneath, above, straight on, top right, etc
If you want them clothed with specific items, naked, accessories, etc
What you want the background to be/no background/solid color
Or any little details you feel you want specifically
OR
You can give only the details you really care about and say the rest is artists freedom.
CONTACT DURING
You can choose to just note me, or if you give me an email I can send WIPs to you so you can see what I'm doing and what progress I'm making, or just wait until I upload. I do have skype but because I'm so horrible at talking I'd rather stick to note or email.
WORKS IN PROGRESS AND I NEED YOUR HELP
If you see a WIP of your piece and you see something you want changed or not, please let me know. I use the early stages of sketches to make the general shapes and positioning, then I slowly refine and make it clearer and more detailed. If you want nothing changed, tell me and I know to keep doing what I was doing, but if there's things you see in the wrong spot or it's not there at all tell me and I will go back and fix it and re-upload and will wait for your approval. I want you to get what you wanted. I want you to be happy that you got exactly what you wanted, but you need to work with me on that so we can achieve that.
HOW I WANT THE PAYMENTS TO GO (But circumstances vary.)
I use PayPal.
Once a price is agreed on, I prefer to be paid half up front if not in full.
I will send you a request for money.
Once I receive the email saying I was paid, I will get started and will continue to work when possible and will post progress along the way.
PAYMENTS NEED TO BE USD. I am in America and have no use for anything but the U.S. currency lol
After I am finished with the art, I would like to be paid the other half if not paid in full already, and all versions of the file will be sent to you.
FILES BEING SENT
It will include .sai and .png with watermarked, and nonwatermarked.
REQUIREMENTS FOR UPLOADING
You may upload the picture only if you credit me. How you credit is you put : with the word icon right after it then the persons account name, so goodygurl, then another :. So it will look like this when typing it but you won't have spaces in between. : icon goodygurl :

Sketch concept of a head is $1.
SC of a bust is $2.
SC waist up $3.
SC knee up $4.
SC full body $5.
The above with a background is +$1
A weapon adds $0.50
A weapon with designs $1.50
Anything else is to be discussed.
Clean sketch of a head is $2.
CS of a bust is $3.
CS waist up $4.
CS knee up $5.
CS full body $6.
The above with a background is +$2
A weapon adds $1

Lineart is to be discussed.
Flat colored of a head is $4.
