Have you ever questioned your sexuality?

Because I'm kinda doing it...
I mean, I know I like females. But a few months ago, one of my best friends told me "you should check on males too" (I don't have a mate) and I was like "are you crazy? There's no way I can like a male"...
No?
I'm a very romantic person, and, after thinking it, I realised that a male can give me the same things that a woman can in a romantic way. All those qualites I'm looking for my mate a man can have them...
But will I accept him?
I don't know...I would be flattered, honestly.
I can find attractive a male. I have, actually.
But consider him as a mate. As MY mate. As a boyfriend?...Pfff...
In my family is kinda tabú the homosexuality thing. My last name is "Gay" (is from France) and since I was a kid I was kinda obliged to prove that I wasn't "gay", so the simple idea of like a male was almost forbidden. But now, with this idea prevously expressed...well, that's the thing. I don't know if I like males, or if I CAN like males. I'm confused -.- I just want to be loved. Love doesn't know about genders.
And if it results that I'm happy with a male mate...with a boyfriend...anyway, I wanted to express this. Put it out of my mind.
