Many companies that are on their way out will often implement ridiculous policies like these to justify terminating random staff members, or stress them into quitting to avoid paying UC..Dirty little bastards.

Isn't it illegal for them to fire you if you're sick? I'd do some research here. Sounds like they're being very unreasonable.

PA has a fire at will.....been backing up emails in hopes of being able to classify it as hostile work environment to get unemployment....but you know what sickens me most is that I supported this company... I did there print ads for years...they laid me off and I went back.....why because I had faith in them and now....10 years of experience and devotion is nothing more than we can higher someone at a lower pay.

I've been so stressed out lately....luckily my only saving grace was my sister and I decided to sell the lot where I used to live and hope that'll help me live off of until I find a job that isn't trying to sack everyone.

Wolf-Max, what line of work do you do? It sounds like you do print design. I'm a motiongraphics designer and may be able to help you out if you're preparing to look for a new job.

I'm a graphic designer....been doing ads for Yellowbook (now hibü) since 2005. They laid me off in 2014 and went back to them 2 months later but now they are seriously looking for ways to not do anymore rounds of layoffs and really not sure how long I have there due to there policies getting more and more strict and adding more and more task for us to do.....currently doing 3 different jobs which they keep adding to and if one can't handle it.....they fire them.

Currently need to write 1 site a day from schedule interviews, as well as sites from the POS queue (which can be 1 to 3 calls a night) which normally doesn't show up in our system the following day but need it sent to build before then, and now have to take from another queue that is a need to do under 1 day because overseas does it in less than 24 hours even they only work solely from that queue.

So we have to do 3 to 5 different jobs and are expected to do all of them in less time then one who only does 1 of them.

Thats just sickening... You have every right to be upset. Try and channel as much of that anger as you can into the will power you need to find a new job. Every day, do something to get to that goal. I'm looking for a new job too so i'll be rooting for ya.

Will do...haven't reached my final warning and doing everything in my power to get in on time....just so stressful....my manager is doing everything he can and grateful for that....but higher ups....so feel they don't give a damn.

Don't worry dude, same here, my manager is amazing but upper management is questionable.
Ya, print design may be hard to find, but there are niche shops here and there with high end screen prints and stuff.
UI design is exploding right now though. If you can learn a little bit of code, There are plenty of design/code hybrid jobs in that field with good wages.
