Yeah, there is always one I keep getting every now and then, I'm running through a wooded area and I'm being chased by some weird freaky thing, I trip over this log and always wake up just before hitting the ground.

that sounds pretty scarry eh i hope i never get that dream i have a few friends that actualy controle there dreams its weard but ya nightmars arnt fun at all i shoud know i have about 12 nightmares before i had this dream!!!

I know a bloke at where I work who talked about people who can control their dreams, that sounds absolutely fantastic. The world can be your oyster!

But it's not all that it's cracked up to be...For one thing you can't sleep too deeply, or your subconsious take to you some far away place. Another thing, sometimes your subconsious "butts in" to your dreams. Once I was dreaming that I was an explorer, climbing mountains and stuff. I could actually feel the mist from the waterfalls and the rocks underneath my hands. But then as I was climbing a snowy section of a mountain, my subconsious went "Okay, that's enough happy time" and threw everything to hell. The ledge I was clinging to crumbled. I tumbled about 400 feet down the mountain side, slamming into everything that got in my way, and finally stopped when my head struck a sharp rock...at which point I woke up.

I sat up in my bed and almost screamed. My body was cold, covered with bruises, and hurt everywhere. Then I felt something odd on my head, I reached up and touched the spot, and my fingers were bloody, but there was NO CUT.

I don't know about other people, but I find that's it's downsides FAR outway the benefits...trouble is, I can't help it. I'm not a strong sleeper as it is. Add to the fact that I wake up everytime I roll onto my back...I guess it just makes me suseptible to this sort of thing.

Heh, lucky to have a good dream, I haven't had a dream in YEARS, plenty of nightmares though, the funny thing (in a dark way) is that I die horrible (and usually kill horribly) everytime. They also usually have a lot to do with military. Think of a way to die, and I've probably dreamt of me dying that way.
